The Story of Big Vibes Plus
Big Vibes Plus was born from a simple realization: EDM needs Bigger Vibes. Founded in 2024 by Jelani Smit and Chance Russell each with more than 10 years of production experience.
The Inspiration
Jelani grew up in a house filled with music. The journey started producing beats on a $14 FL Studio app on an iPod Touch.
After attending a life-changing rave in Minneapolis in 2019, the vision became clear: create events like this, but more vibe.
When Chance and Jelani met in 2017, they connected instantly. Eventually Jelani showed Chance his beats and they started recording Chance rapping over his beats in the garage.
Eventually Chance started making his own beats and they started learning from each other and growing their skills.
After a few years of working together, they decided to start Big Vibes Plus.
